17th November 2006 – Casio Electronics is pleased to announce the release of three new digital keyboard products in its WK range of high-end musical keyboards.

Casio introduces the WK-8000, an 88 key piano-style keyboard with a powerful audio system, and bass reflex speaker system that offers users the ability to play keyboard or piano style, while utilizing their latest selection of real dynamic sampled instrument tones to accompany the player.

Available now, this 88 key piano-style digital keyboard comes equipped with a stylish stand, and offers a dual-element ZPI sound source enabling many different levels of dynamic expression. the WK8000 also offers an editable drawbar organ function for authentic traditional and rock tones. There are 670 rich preset tones, and 224 user areas for you to create your own. Additional features include:

  • Direct PC connection with USB interface for easy data transfer and new sound uploads.
  • SD card slot for data transfer---perfect for backing up song memories and your favourite set ups.
  • Multiple sound effects including reverberation, chorus and equaliser
  • 32 note polyphony, synthesizer and mixer function

Casio WK3800 and WK3300 Digital Keyboards
The WK-3300 and WK-3800 replace Casio models WK-3200 and WK-3700 respectively. The new replacement models feature new upgrades. For the WK-8000 these upgrades include additional tones and high performance rhythm patterns as well as an SD Card slot and USB terminal. The WK-3800 also features an additional floppy disc drive for loading and saving traditional Standard MIDI files, L+R line out terminals and a modulation wheel for added expression.

All of the Casio WK Series keyboards are equipped with Internet Data Expansion Systems (IDES) allowing users to download additional data such as tones,rhythms, songs and much more, to tailor the keyboard to suit your specific needs.
